Unlike before the seventies, Filipino overseas migration has become much more commonplace. Thus, in many communities, a number of households would have a relative if not a family member working abroad, so-called pinoy abroad or OFW, if not at present, then in the past. I tried to validate this by interviewing a few of the common tao re their view on overseas migration or about pinoy abroad or OFW. Please view one such interview:
